A 14-year old boy was injured yesterday when he was hit by a car a the corner of Spring Avenue and Third Street in Ellwood City. According to reports, the boy was struck by a car while crossing the street. The car, possibly a Pontiac, then left the scene of the accident. The boy was taken to Ellwood City Hospital for treatment.
