A Franklin Township man and his wife were awarded 2.3 million dollars for injuries he sustained in a 2003 auto accident. The man sustained serious back injuries that required surgery and is no longer able to work because of his injuries. The man was injured when he was struck from behind and pushed into the path of a tractor-trailer.
A jury verdict like this is rare in Beaver County but demonstrates that there are instances where a jury will properly compensate an injured party for their injuries.
