Beaver County jury awards 2.3 million for car accident injuries »
An 18 year old womanwas killed in a rear-end car accident in Peters Township, Saturday night. According to reports, the woman was a passenger in a car that was struck from behind on West Murray Avenue. The driver of the striking car then continued driving and struck several other cars. The police theorize that the driver of that vehicle suffered from a medical emergency at the time of the accident that caused him to continue driving after the initial accident.
Medical emergencies are not an uncommon cause of car accidents. When a claim is made based on an accident that is caused by a medical emergency, the defense will be that the driver who suffered from the medical condition could not have foreseen the onset of the condition. Often, medical records woll demonstrate that the driver had knowledge of the condition and the risk that the condition could affect their driving ability. Western PA personal injury attorney.
